Write Up The New Forest run 15th April 2018

I have only done two of these events. Am I destined to always be following you?
Shropshire run in a couple of weeks, if you go I’ll let
you go first

Great day out as usual Paul, the new route is excellent, even the rain can't spoil a day zedding in good company.

Indeed Mike. I think we shall have to find a good place for a stop if the end pub is to become a gastro pub. Enjoyed that route too and will be doing it again later in the year I think.

This was my first meeting with you lot and felt very welcomed and the Mrs and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We did leave rather swiftly at the end but were just flagging from lack of sleep and wanted to get the drive home out the way. We originally planned to stay tonight aswell but missed our own bed too much!

Thank you to those that organised the cruise and it's nice to put real names and faces to the usernames on here :)

Some more pics from today.

Kath took the hint in the bar lol, thought we would take one since we had been looking at your rear all day, oh now that sounds bad.
Thank Kath for me. Great photo, but then I did think that it was an impressive camera! She obviously knows how to use it. Oh, and there is nothing wrong with my wide bodied rear end!!

Really great day really nice route thanks to pgunter for organising .Shame the rain came on second half of run but still enjoyed it. Some really nice cars and really nice people made us feel welcome. Was not quite sure how the second toilet stop got in there for group 4 lol not mentioning any names.
o_Oo_O How, where did that happen??? I was contemplating using a bottle I was so desperate. :D:D

@pgunter thanks for organising Paul. Great to catch up with everyone, its been a long winter.:thumbsup:

You guys are just making me envious. Might need to get a big snorkel and head north to join you.:coolsteer)
At 23 knotts (constant) it would take 16 days, 7 hours and 12 minutes. Things you'd need:

Bilge pump
Propeller
Dry suit
Sanity check

After therapy and drying out your Zed you should be ready for the Peaks Cruise :D

Man of the day, @Ianmc and co-pilot Alfie , roof down all day. Left also the pub car par still with roof down. So glad i got this snap......
Some would say that's a hardened Zedder ................... others may say bring the Coupe next time it rains :whistle: :D:D:D

Thanks to Paul and those involved in the organisation of the run. Nice to meet s lot of new people and see some very neat zeds 3&4s.
Shame about the rain . Sorry for cutting loose at the pub, had issues with my brake lights, interesting drive back home, braking, flicking the rear fogs on (red light at least) and remembering to switch them off once we had stopped. All part of the day I suppose

Shame about the lights. Hope it is an easy fix.
Did like your Zed though!

Thank you for liking the car, 3years to get her up to a happy standard. We noticed your zed as we were leaving the first stop. Both myself and the wife liked the colour, don't see many in your colour.

Looks like a great day had by all, some great photos
