The place was rammed and very well observed.A group of us experienced this on the recent Euro tour.

Nothing but respect for the guys who gave all that they had

Nice family piece to pass down the line mate.Always a moving moment. I played the Last Post many times when I was a kid. It was always a special sunday.
Not sure I could do it now although I have my grandad's rather battered and battle damaged bugle that saw active service in North Africa and Europe during WW2.
Indeed - both family and social history attached to it.Nice family piece to pass down the line mate.
Yeah, there was two coaches of School children stood just being the Buglers, nice touch I thought. The EAC did a WW1 battlefield tour in 2013 and we went to this ceremony on Easter Sunday. It was very moving. As well as the Last Post there were some school children from Glasgow there and they played bagpipes and laid a wreath. I was amazed at the number of children there and the noise before the ceremony followed by complete silence, you could have heard a pin drop. An amazing experience, something that needs to be done to remember those who gave their lives for us.
