In the process of moving after a 14 year stint on the farm (address number 31 in 59 years inbound). The small barn shall be no more in 10 days or so and into a slightly larger than normal size garage with a small workshop and bench added on at the end. Parking for 5 cars of which one space shall be for my high security metal motorcycle garage. No more doing the Paris/Dakar up and down the farm track, no more 🐄💩 and 🐑💩 to jet wash off. We'll miss the views but Workington Suburbia here we come.

3 bed semi corner plot with extension, conservatory, two downstairs reception rooms making it a 4 bed semi, good size garden and close to town and all the amenities, which is nice.

90% of the decorating done so the move starts tomorrow evening, I'll do the 10% whilst in it.

Very nice Andy .
All the best with the move hope all goes smoothly.

Looks like you'll be taking up gardening in your spare time.
Stephen.

Demolish the garage Andy and you could build another house/ bungalow on that parking area, or just get planning permission on it and flog the lot for a tidy profit and buy somewhere even bigger 😄
Nice buy though

Bloody hell that’s a lot of property for £180K. Which neck of the woods is that? I hope you enjoy your new home :drinks:
Workington just up the road from where I currently live on the outskirts of Whitehaven. The West Coast of Cumbria is a cheap place to buy, just don't venture into the Lakes.

Good luck with the new home Andy, hope it all goes well. Now you will be too busy gardening to hoon around the lakes.

That looks a lot for £180K Andy. Loads of room for the fleet too.
All the best for the move and I hope Bella is happy in her new home.

Oh and you too ;)

Nice buy though
I would demolish the house and build another garage in pure petrolhead attitude.
Congrats! Enjoy!

Those pebbledashed walls bring back memories of skinned elbows and knees, and shoulders, and palms, pretty much every body-part in fact!

Good luck with the move. I hate the paperwork part of moving house, but I love the planning and the actual move

Have heard Autoglym shares have tanked, dividend payments suspended this year too.

On the plus side, that looks to be a nice Gaff, with some room for expansion, if needed.

Good luck with the move, I'm sure it will go smoothly - enjoy the new home, Andy.
