Write Up The Lakes Tour May 2016 write up thread

I didn't notice that. The view from the camera is actually a bit better than from the drivers seat, at that point all I could see was sky.
=))

@mwpe Mike I love the video... and my ears did pick up the *sh*t word at 2.22.... I think I might have said something along those lines. lol..

This thread will go on and on.
Ditto Sean d I can see me booking another week in the Lakes once I know the weather is right
Soon as I get my 16/17 schedule sorted I'll book some leave and Jack up a re-run. Won't know until late September 16 though.

It was only a couple of weeks ago but it seems like it was last year. I want to do it again.

Can't wait for the Euro run

Hugh have uploaded the photos you took as we came down from the pass.
I will upload the video later where you jumped out and took those photos

Well Andy where did you book that weather? Having another dodgy weekend.

It's a shocker mate, just been out on my road bike for the first time in 3 years. It's not gone well, I'm in tatters and now have to drive to Pooley Bridge for lunch with big Sis and hubby :arghh:

@Lowrider Brilliant Video mate :thumbsup:

Andy I have found the Scottish hardknott pass . The road to applecross. Coming out of applecross road boasts greatest assent of any road climb in the UK sea level to 2054ft also 3rd highest road uk other 2 in the cairngorms view ain't bad either
