He dodged last year
Reckon still a few additions to go yet Andy as like Sean says it really is a 1st class run in some fantastic countryside.
Hope this winter is fairing better with your roads Andy all the repeated snow and ice up here has wrecked many sections of road including a lot of the main trunk roads i was up in Oban with the zed a coulpe of weeks ago and some sections of the A82 up past loch lomond and Tyndrum were pretty rutted in places
Most of the main A roads are now like billiard tables mate, blank cheque post the floods. No change to the Fell roads though.

Good that you got that investment after the devastation caused governments and councils can drag their heels on these things sometimes

Just poor timing on my part with the date mate but it's one of the few times I could nail the date. Yup, looking forward to it. Looking good for my mate with his Gaurds Red 3.0 VW Beetle 944.
Andy, would you have a pic of the VW 944 as I've vever heard of or seen one. JIM

Thanks @Andy McDonnell they are sold here as a Porsche with an Audi engine. I took one down the Rhine River .Rd on the German side in 86 when it was brand new and it drove like it waas on tracks especially since it was in a sleeting atmosphere. JIM

Jim the Porsche with the Audi engine is the 924 ( looks similar but smaller to 944) the bigger 944 still had a 4 pot started at 2.5 then enlarged to 2.7 essentially the engine was half of the 928 models 5.0 and 5.4 v8 engines.

The 944 also has a 3.0 in it buddy. Gets down the road well. Not many left now though, in the UK.
I know i was just keeping it simple as there were various models of each which stemmed from the originals like you said the 3.0 version of the 944 also turbo versions of the 924 and 944.

Absolutely correct regarding the model designattions and body and engines and sizes. I actually have a 77 with the Audi engine, my mistake. Got it for a song and it floods like crazy which I'll take care of this summer along with the 140hp rear engined chev Corvair 2 dr. HT! Then the 57 chev 2dr with the 462 cu in v8 then onto the two 55 Pontiac safari 2dr station wagons. And if I were to live long enough the 76 Austin mini. The 48 Anglia 2dr and the 28 Ford model a 2dr. The mini would be for @Shelly but she'll need to learn to to LHD!! JIM

Seems to be which country they get imported to. The Porsche 944 was an able handler and quite quick around the hairpin turns. I was absolutely shocked when the owner stopped and turned over his brand new 944 turbo in such shi****y road conditions. But it felt like a normal drive about!! JIM

It's not so hard to learn to drive a LHD car Shelly The pedals are same as yours it's just getting used to looking in the correct direction when using the interior mirrror! Didn't take me long to figure that out. JIM xxxx
