The best purchase when you buy a zed is an Irvin flying jacket, there's nothing better than driving on a bright cold winters day wearing a good quality flying jacket, and the Irvin jacket made by aviation leathercraft is the daddy of them all, I've got the sheepskin cap too and personally I couldn't care less if I look like a tit but I'm the one having fun. I got the jacket before the car cos I had a brabus roadster formerly:)

You sound like a proper hard core all weather zedder .
I've been on the look out for one of those flying jackets but they're quite expensive .

Would make them easier to catch and pick out your favourite(s) that way I'd think. Never have tried one but I do know @FRANKIE had a favourite while visiting @miller1098 a couple of years ago. JIM

It's only expensive until you're freezing without one. Bite the bullet and part with the $$$!! Wish I could find one over here but I do have my caribou suit for when it's-40 but then the car won't start cuz don't have a block heater which is a must have here!! JIM

You can get them much cheaper but if you want the best you gotta pay, I have a cheaper example, still a very good jacket with 15'mm thick genuine sheepskin with tawny fleece in great condition, the outer leather is more like the suede feel as opposed to the shiney leather Finnish, no holes or missing stitches, buckles and all zips in good shape, ideal size for maybe a 44", altogether a really nice jacket which has served me well for years but over the last few years I was taken I'll and the mix of lifetime prescription drugs and the inability to exercise I have put on 35kg since I finished work so basically I've had to get a new one but whenever I attend a meet I will take along my redundant jacket when hopefully it's freezing cold and someone is going to get a bargain !!
