Great news on the World Heritage status. Maybe that's why all the money spent on the roads @Andy McDonnell !

You could hold an F1 race on some of the roads now mate. Blank check me thinks.

Now there's a thought. The Lake District F1 GP - the British Nurbughring. 16 miles of racing round some of the best British scenery. An alternative to Silverstone. You can plan the track. :whistle:

Steve - Might be a day or two before Andy gets to reply. He is on his way to Germany for quite a few days.

I thought it was odd that Andy hadn't replied. Thanks Ian.
I'm gutted to miss the Lake as it was my high light of last year.

Any zedders out there not doing the Lakes, its Mega so if your free that weekend their may be room
 
Hi Andy, Unfortunately we have to pull out of this one. Family business so it's a no go and I'll have to lose my deposit on the guest house!
Can't be helped ,but still a nuisance. Maybe it will free a space for someone else.
