EDIT, change of route and Car :)

Well we are off again! Me Ali and Willow :) are off to Florence in June on another Euro trip (if we are allowed out of the country following Brexit or the lack of)

Decided not to take the Alpina as I have a confidence issue in as much I just don't know the car well enough having done so little mileage in her over the last few years, and the opposite is true of the M, done over 40k in the past 3 years including many trips to Europe and around the UK problem free, so have super confidence in her (plus I wanted to take her really ;))

So the trip.

Day 1 Calais to Epinal France
Day 2 Epinal to Ulrichen Switzerland via the Grand Ballon, Susten, Gothard, Tremola, and Nufene
Day 3 Ulrichen to Florence via the St Bernard Pass then Autostrada
Days 4,5,6 Florence
Day 7 Down to Sienna
Days 8,9.10.11 Sienna
Day 12 (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) Sienna to Albertville via the Route de Alps (looks an amazing days drive)
Day 13 Albertville to Riems (Autoroute haul)
Day 14 Reims to Calais

That's going to be 1992 miles (plus sight seeing) Wish us luck.

All the numbers on the map.....Toilet stops ?????=))

We weren’t al that keen on Pisa but there’s a lovely mountain town called Volterra that we have stayed a couple of times not to far away it’s beautiful we also enjoyed Siena for a short stay beautiful city but we were really intrigued in the Palio. But it’s great fun exploring yourself and finding your own special places :)

Not actually staying in Pisa about 5 miles outside in a small village just wanted to explore the area

Looks great. The Alpina should be fine as it already knows some of the route

Sounds like a great trip. Florence is a wonderful city.

Looks a great route Niall, I'm sure you and the Alpina will enjoy it.

Looks a good route Niall, very similar to what we are doing early June, hope the passes are open.
