The how many points thread (from Peaks Run)

Been driving for 53yrs, 30yrs as a HGV class 3 then 2 then PSV then Class 1, No points in any of them vehicles, but in my cars I've had a few, can't remember how many, been waiting for this month to go clean again. Been better at staying clean since joining .Org.(must be slowing down in my old age) or maybe it's the company I'm keeping. Not proud of getting points but can say never got points for a 30mph limit, my son was knocked down in a 30limit when he was 12, so that obviosly has a big bearing on my built up area driving, most have been 70mph and 3 for 40mph. Not really such a bad boy ?????

I have 12 points on my licence, however I think some may have expired now.
 
just three on my licence for me at the moment I hope not to increase that any time soon thou:whistle:
 
Driving 33 years caught only once over twenty years ago and the Rozzers gave me 6 points :mad: 58mph in a 30 zone :whistle: in my defence it was 6am on a clear sunny Sunday morning with no traffic on the roads (not that that plea worked with the kind officer that handed me the ticket) :(
 
I've been driving 41yrs and have had 3 speeding incidents. Twice on my motorbike back in the 80's and once in the works van. Got 3 points and a fine for each of my motorbike incidents and did a speed awareness course for the other one.
 
33 years driving with one speeding ticket 65 km/h in a 50 area, long time ago and an overtaking of a Yugo, crossing the white line in Montenegro. The last one very expensive: 80 Euro, maybe because I was driving a Zed...:whistle:
