First of all let me set the picture………..
Driving around the beautiful Welsh countryside, top down, the sun glistening through the trees, enjoying ourselves without a care in the world  ok have you got that mental picture
Then all of a sudden whack, a very kind and thoughtful oak tree decided to drop some acorns on us!
So while I'm nursing a very painful head checking for blood my dear husbands comment was "I hope the ones that hit the bonnet didn't do any damage" so thoughtful :(
I suppose we should be grateful it wasn't the tree lol

Glad you ok Pauline, can relate to the concern re the car

I like to use the BBQ the entire year. One year, after it had snowed about 4 inches, I was heading out the back door with a plate of 2 steaks and going down the back steps. One of the 3 concrete steps cracked and broke, something I had never seen happen before, sending me flying with the plate of steak. I landed in the snow in the back yard still holding the plate without the steak falling off. Hearing the commotion, my wife comes out the back door, views the whole situation of the broken step and me lying on the ground and asks "are the steaks ok?". I picked my face out of the snow, turned around and just looked at her in disbelief for a few minutes. She got the message. Frankie

Oooooh Pauline i hope the zed has not got to many marks on it from the Acorns. Ooh yes and your head =))

I remember being on one of Jims runs and a stone flicked up and hit kim on the bonce and i said to her "Good job it did not hit the bonnet"

Mrs Mint Pauline has already had a Z5, now this. I think she should start using full body armour when she goes out with Dave =))

Great minds think alike:thumbsup:

Hope it didn't mess your new hair style up @Mrs Mint :p

I think I will survive, got a bit of a lump and it hurts but no sympathy from you know who
I'm not sure what @miller1098 is getting at, just because I said it was nice not having a tv in his romantic getaway :D
My excuse was I had my back to it lol
I was too busy eyeing the stairs wondering if I had time for a nap before going cruising :p
Pauline getting up at 6am in the dark is virtually unheard of =))
Had a little lie in today

Hope your head is not too sore this morning, Pauline. :) Mind you it was good timing from the oak tree.;)
