Has anyone caught the Tiff Needell streaming series - Lovecars ?

I have time for Tiff although not everything hes done is great. I keep meaning to watch but then forget (She's just called for a sherry for the fresh batch of mince pies).

Is Lovecars any good, or just more twaddle ?

Its OK to pass an hour on but wouldn't stop in to watch it if i had anywhere i could go

Get yourself on YouTube and you will find as much quality car content as you take. Even most of the smaller channels have way better content than the mainstream TV crud. I watch a lot of the "one man and a camera" car channels, very little in the way of glitz or glamour.

Take this American guy who bought a Reliant Robin and uses it regularly amongst a load of other unusual cars like a Trabant.

Exactly. A lot of home made stuff on there that is good viewing.

Well when your trying to please the general public and those that buy cars and know nothing about them then Im afraid us petrol heads are out numbered. The audience they’re aiming for now is, look at me in my latest fastest car. You can’t give them what we feel is interesting cos the viewing numbers just wouldn’t be enough after the first couple of shows. Then they recruit two knob heads and one ex racer to try and please both sides which just doesn’t work. Don’t watch much motoring now on tv and like Gaz try and find it on here and you tube. Tiff is still worth a look but only for the outrageously expensive cars. Think they should get themselves and cameras to the Z sheds, might find something a bit more interesting. IMOO of course.
