With what I have got going on over the next 10 months I'm going to need a tanker to follow me around. :(

You lot are such naughty people lol. @NODZED you will have to map petrol stations on the route too.

Hotel wise, list to be updated when researched.

OK mate sorry my enthusiasm is making me jump the gun.
Don't remind me about the fuel I think a tow bar and fuel Bowser may be an option:( But I am learning to coast ;)

It is still a long time till June 11, my topic with the info will not be online for a while.
But I thought give the date a little earlier so everyone has the time to plan :)

You don't get the time to meet people on a large cruise like this one other than at the lunch table and at the stops to regroup.
Would rather meet in a hotel bar in the evening and have a few drinks.

Well I enjoyed my time getting to know you, so much so I'd said to Jue I should put you in my pocket and bring you home with us lol!! =))

Going to hate reading this thread for the next 9 months Roger as we can't come next visit but will see you the following year.
 
I know how you feel Grumpy. Pity this clashes with us going to Europe but they are too close to be able to do both and the 16 day one takes preference

@Ed the Z The post is about the run, but I do not have any list as such for hotels. We all book are own as such using the internet. The Dutch run will be posted by @DutchScorpion with all the relevant payment required for the food on the day. It is well worth it. As soon as I can get the confirmation for the rest of the run over I can relate details enabling people to book the crossings.

To recap for you.

Friday night most book a hotel in Folkestone so that we can get an early 10 / 11am crossing on the Channel Tunnel.
Saturday and Sunday nights are to be booked in a hotel in Sleneken, Southern Holland.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights are all subject to getting confirmation from Hockenheim for the Tuesday. They do not release dates till later in the year.

The reason we do not book as a group is that some people prefer to arrange all the hotels and such themselves. The forum is just a place to get the information about the run.

We've booked into Hotel Berg en Dal via booking.com
