I'm with @Grumpy at loving the long awaited hot sunny weather, drive the zed to and from work top down, trouble is my arms are quite burnt now. Have a drive of around 42 miles each way but sussed out a cross country route through small hamlets to leave the main roads behind together with all the manic drivers jostling for pole position, and the best bit is it cuts 10 minutes off my journey time and a just over a mile. Such a relaxing enjoyable drive, what better too than in a zed top down. All the senses come alive. A few piccies of the hamlets I drive through:

O.K I had to get out for the one above, it's the village duck pond - with ducks too.

Just luurving it, rarely see another car.
So, my two questions to you all is a) who drives the furthest on their daily commute, and.......
b) who has the prettiest drive? (photos to prove !!!!)

Yours will take some beating I reckon Adrian. I like driving with the top down , the worst part is stopping when I get to work and having to put the roof up for 81?2 hours.

Tony.

Looks a nice drive Adrian.
My 3 miles drive through a housing estate is no ware as interesting as yours.

I have a 10 minute cruise through downtown Ely in Cardiff. Not the best. :(

26 miles, all roads out in the countryside and pass the edge of just one village until I get 1/2 from the office. Sounds great. The problem is its mainly the A5. Busy, busy, busy. And now the farmers have started with their lumbering farm machinery in the roads. No alternative route that doesn't go through towns and busier roads. :(
Just cruise along with the traffic and put some music on. LOUD!

My drive all depends how I hit the traffic lights at Drinsey Nook. If I have to stop and the first vehicle is an artic I'm screwed because it will have at least 1/4 mile convoy behind it on the A57.:(

Tony.

I'm with you @Synclare you route looks pretty good. Loving the sunshine in Kent roof down around 7am taking the long way round to the office, road are still pretty busy though.

Mines a naff run. 6 miles of 2 into 1 so constantly getting carved up :(

I have a 15 mile run to work on mainly country roads, however I don't use the Z during the week.

i have a 6 meter commute from my bedroom to my office next door .... it's not very scenic

Wish i had a nice run to work, No i don't! ;)

I do so hate that stretch of road, or more specifically those drivers whose sole intention is to squeeze their car in front of you irrespective of how far behind you they were before you crossed the lights. They don't even think trucks like yours are unwise to pass.
Have they resurfaced the junction to the A617 yet?

Of course you know it Ian. Its a shocker. Fine at 3.30am but coming home has just took me 30 minutes!. No where near finishes the A617. It'll be months before that's done.

What lovely photos :p
Lovely drive to work you have ;)

I reckon my commute a couple of times a week could take a bit of beating, I get the pleasure of driving from Killin to Crianlarich and then along the side of Loch Lomond, really is a special place some mornings when all is still and quiet. 64 mile commute, 47 miles of that are stunning 17 not so!
