A few pics from today's meet. Thanks to Grumpy for organising todays run out. It turned out just great despite the apocalyptic weather forecast we had a few days ago. Roof down all morning and some great roads and a good lunch to boot.

Sadly the clouds rolled in so we called it a day after lunch (which finished nearer tea time!). It rained all the way home, but annoyingly, its now fine.

Most of the pics are before we set out. The seventh is about 300m after we started and a wrong turn! A couple of us stragglers got split from the main group because of traffic at this point but we caught up at the first stop. It wasn't us that pulled the tree down for the following fast group though - honest!

A big thank you to Dave @Grumpy and Jue @jue1 for organising a great day out and allowing us to tag along.

Sunshine, great roads, lovely scenery, very shiny cars and lots of nice people.
Liz and I enjoyed the day - thank you to you both :thankyou:

Good day out amongst fellow Zedders, Well organised thanks to Dave and Jue not forgetting the absent Mr and Mrs Mints contribution.
Escaped the rains just. After a detour home the perfect end, dropped on watching the Vulcan come in to land at Robinhood.

Thanks for an awesome day - the route was fantastic! Even though my 4-Pot was with some of the big boys - it kept up with you all. So again from me thank you for an great drive - and also thanks for giving me so many laughs (at the wife) for pressing the foot break - trying to stop the car with her own feet - and screams every time we went around an corner. I loved it - she hated it LOL Thanks again for an fantastic day out!

Thanks everyone for making a great day! I must apologise for the restaurant. They promised me they could cope with the numbers and they obviously struggled making the last section to late to run for the majority of participants. 6 of us did run to Clumber but just parked on the outskirts rather than paying to go in just having a 20 minute natter before living for home.
Now that's done, myself and Jue have had a fantastic time and the rain holding off for 95% of the day just finished it off. Nice to see the old faces and some brand new entries. I'm sat looking at the picture's posted trying to work out who some of the newbies were. Feel free to make yourselves known! Sorry I'm terrible with faces as Gail will tell you but I was straight onto you this morning eh Gail :D. Big thanks to Bill, Paul and Russ for helping with running the groups, and Dave and Pauline (the mints) for twice doing the reccy run with us and a huge thanks to Grumpy2 and Andrea for spending their 45th wedding anniversary with us lot! Bet the restaurant manager wished you'd spent it else where lol!!! Some really good pictures been posted, keep them coming! We're both completely knackered and have decided were having next year off so someone can organise a cruise!
So thanks again to everyone for making a great day out and here's to the next one!
Cheers all :beer:beer:mad:

And finally I'd just like to mention Ash. He was due to be with us today and he was certainly in our thoughts as Gail handed round the "order of service"
Cheers Ash RIP mate.
