The dent man has been then!

Bloody hell mate that's a swine
would've thought he'd do a simple check with a magnet first to gage if there's filler in the dent/repair area.
You'd be as well biting the bullet and get Reggie over to @Sean d's.

Steve
On it mate.

My goodness :(
Your poor Z @Grumpy :(

Gutted. I feel terrible now for recommending him. He did a top job on mine so was happy to recommend him but not now. Sorry mate.

Bloody hell mate its not your fault. I don't really blame the guy that did it either. He could have used a magnet but I wouldn't know if this is even standard practice. please don't worry about about it mate, it'll get sorted.

Do you have any pictures of the dent before. I can't understand if there were filler there how would it have a dent, it doesn't react to impact like metalwork, surely it would crack around the edge or pop? Just a thought doesn't really matter now as it needs paint regardless.

He could have used a micrometer to measure the depth to the steel, this would give him an idea.

Oh no, sorry to see this Dave:(. There must be something about you and cars at the moment. Let's hope 2017 is better:thumbsup:

I haven't mate, there was no cracking around it at all. The dent was my own fault, the boot wasn't catching well for a while and I was having to slam it to get it to shut. One to many slams and I dented the lid. It had crossed my mind to be honest.

Don't know if that's the done thing with these guys or not mate.

I hope so Dave. I am getting a bit miserable with it all. I'm sure it'll sort itself out eventually.

More work for Sean?

Bad luck Dave but keep your chin up things cant get any worse surely

Talk yourself round to accepting the mishap and as @Sean d says - it will be sorted soon.:)

Could always do what you usually do when you have car issues. Sell it and get a Z4 =)):whistle:

Don't swear at me! As well as definitely, but I'd never sell him. I'd rather moth ball him until I could sort it.
