Funny you should say that, when I'm driving she scares me by regularly doing a sharp intake of breath........for no apparent reason and when she's driving I do the same but with very good reason .
She's a secret speed demon :ymdevil:.

If you think that's expensive, try parking at the NEC.
To be fair, you were parking right by one of the most popular tourist places and, if I recall, I think that car park is always full and is privately owned. Has always been expensive and always busy if not full.

Yes that's true and the car park was nearly full.
Last time i was at the N.E.C it cost £8 to park all day, don't know if it's gone up yet ?.

I think Gail said they were charging something like £15 at an event recently. it must change depending on the event.

Glad you enjoyed my part of the world. Best time for a drive around is the Winter time, to busy during the summer unless you take the back roads. Anglesey has some lovely little coves and secluded beaches, But my favourite run out is through Nefyn on to Aberdaron, and if you fancy a walk why not pop into the Ty Coch Inn, Porthdinllaen for a drink and something to eat, they used to do B & B and holiday cottages but not sure if they still do this (If you are staying you are allowed to take your car right up to the pub through the Golf Course, You cant get much closer to the sea.

In all the years we went to that area we never knew about that - a well kept secret if ever there was one!

Please note:

WE DO NOT TAKE TABLE BOOKINGS OR RESERVATIONS WE ARE NEVER OPEN ON SUNDAY NIGHTS NO FOOD AVAILABLE IN THE EVENINGS

Boyo, that's Wales for you.......:baa

Very few visitors in the winter, but the summer is different, they come to you, Get your place on the beach, Shout over a staff member place your order, stick your numbered flag in the sand, and they turn up with your drinks and meal. Great atmosphere when the sun is shining. Its about a 2 mile walk along the beach, or you can walk through the golf club (or as we do arrive on a boat:thumbsup:)
