The being at home positivity thread!

Quite good for one of those units I recall about 10 years ago the ones for cpus not that great compared to a custom setup. Oh the joys of water cooling. I still need to get some hard lines and fittings for mine but my tech is quite old now but still runs all my games up to that point. I paid £400 for a GTX580 when it came out at the end of 2010. Price of top end GPU’s is nuts.

@Althulas I've been looking at gfx card upgrades, but can't really justify it as the GTX1060 3GB I have quite happily runs 3 x 24" monitors and plays my games with reasonably high settings. If I change the card, I'd be looking at £750 or so and then I'd be tempted to run 4k monitors, and then it's serious money for those...

Yet colloquially a quantum leap is used to define a sudden change or large advance in something. Possibly more etymology than pedantry.
Yep just that :wideyed:

I’m sitting outside, in the glorious weather we’re having :)
It’s so hot , it’s like being on holiday :)
What more can you ask for on a beautiful day like this :)
It’s makes being furloughed worth it :)

'Etymology' , yes I'm old enough to remember when I could say that I was having a gay and cheerful day without getting any queer looks.

Larry Grayson used to say that all the time Ken:thumbsup:. Him and his mate Everard

Tony.

The quarantine kept me safe, but the old virus didn't! So in beginning of April I bought another bike which came to me in April 8. Since I'm very busy with maintenance, polishing, painting...preparing for the first ride after May 15, when it supposed the "iron curtain" will fall...
Of course neighbors must take a warm up of 10-15 minutes, almost every day...
but at reasonable hours though.

That's not fair I'm still working at the hospital , only 3days but I'm semi retired, 2 new morgues erected last week in the hospital grounds. No visitors in the hospital at all which makes it seem very quiet.

Think I'll give it a miss if it's ok with you!
