Today, small job, clean the inside of the car... I tell myself I'd remove a couple of traces on the mesh, clean the loops etc... all dusty right...

I wipe a paper towel on the mesh and it comes out... *black*. The thing was *filthy* absolutely completely disgusting, 20 years of smog, possible smoker driver and other horrible treatment, no wonder it looked a bit in poor shape!

Anyway, I went heavy handed. Warm water+dish soap, and a stiff brush, brushed all the in/out, and everywhere... then went a rinced it all using the garden hose... The water was absolutely disgusting!

Now mine even looks *black* amazingly, never knew it was that color before :)

I washed mine a few weeks ago. It was also filthy!
It is amazing how much crap a mesh screen can hold!

Yep, been there done that as well, in fact I cleaned it in the bath once. It's amazing how dirty they get and it's the same for you in the cabin. The joys of open top motoring=))

Yeah, but hopefully you don't wait 20 years to wash your hair!
