On my second 3L Z4 E85. I sold the first one after only owning briefly as I felt too posey in it after owning an old MGB.
I then bought another MGB and realised how horrible it was after the BM so sold the 'B' and bought another Z4 but in black so less posey and had money left over which is handy as I now have to pay road tax and more expensive insurance. Hopefully this is a keeper, 2005MY with 32K on the clock.
As someone who does all my own work this site looks like it's going to be invaluable with all the knowledgeable owners on it..

Hi Tony
I'm located down South near Basinstoke. The current plan is to keep the car but I have chopped and changed my fun car with alarming regularity, I.e MGB, MX5, S2000, Z4, MGB and now back to a Z4.
I got to say I don't like the steering on the Z4. Doesn't haveva very reassuring feel to it. But it feels the same as my last one so I think it must be a characteristic of the car.
You have clocked up a fair few miles on your one! I doubt I'll do many or year.
Anyway.. thanks for the welcome.
Regards

It took me a while to really feel happy with the electric steering to be fair but now it’s “normal” to me. My car is my one and only and as such till I retired from work just over a year ago it was in daily use.

Tony.
