Tentitively gauging interest

Talking about tow tone seats I recon blue and black would go well in a silver Z @Simon Blythe :D

Good for you Ken, but in general as Mike said the ///M cars are where the investment oportunities really lie.

Tony.

Owning a Z3 is all about the enjoyment, it's too common to be an investment (except for certain models)
I love changing my wheels, I currently own 3 sets which I change on a regular basis.
Any original parts I have changed, I have kept, just in case one day I want to put them back.

I suppose the investment part depends on your particular Z, if you have a 1 owner 10k z of any model it would be worth keeping it absolutely stock and never using it, then it becomes an investment, however if you have a 100k Z its never going to be worth that much so just enjoy it.

Anyone that buys a z3 thinking they'll be making a killing selling it had best be 20years old and have somewhere to lock it up right now for 40-50 years and start restoring it! There are so many out there that even the ///M is going to take quite some time to bring mega bucks, even Mark's car!! Just a game of numbers and owners ages as far as i''m concerned! JMHO JIM

What the Z3 has on it's side is a bit of class and timeless good looks.
Bit like myself really.

Put them in the for sale section with a price as the forum is not an auction, you may well sell them
I've not put them up for auction - that's what eBay is for. I was just stating that they are for, or more importantly the desire to put my car back to standard is greater than my desire for the seats.
