hi, I'm Martin, on my second Zed, I do a bit of sprinting with it in a standard road going class. My wife & I have just become grandparents to a smashing little boy, Herbie, his dad is a car freak too, but things like Focus RS's Mitsu EVO's & the like, Still Daughter can't be blamed for that.

Hi all, I've been here for a while but not posted anything yet. I've just stumbled across this thread and though it a perfect opportunity to make my first post.

1. Moved to Bristol 10 years ago from Kent with my wife and love it here! We have two lovely girls 6 & 9
2. I work for a company selling and hiring broadcast camera equipment to the TV industry
3. In my spare time I'm heavily involved with a cancer charity following my diagnosis in 2010 - itsinthebag.org.uk

Photo of me and the girls on holiday - going back in a few weeks! :D

Hi all, I've been a small part of this site since January this year. My wife bought me the Z for my 40th last November, and I think for shear driving thrills, it's the best car I've owned.

So....

I was born and still live in Glasgow. Served my time as a spark, then a fitter in British Rail. Getting sacked for violent misconduct in the railways working for Branson was the best thing that ever happened to me, then went on to be a service engineer, then to the commercial side of the same business to now being the Ops Manager for Veolia Water in Scotland.

My wife foolishly said yes about 14 years ago, we have two perfect kids Alix 11 & Cole 8.

Aside from family, work and cars, I love golf. My golfing career is something of a parallel to the Robin Williams movie Awakenings. I took the game up and 28, became ok at it despite holding the club the wrong way, won my Club Championship in 2013 and have since drifted back into my golfing coma.

Here I am as I type this...
