Tapatalk double posts

Hi,

Anyone else suffering Tapatalk double posting, as it happened to me earlier. Titan managed a "double" this evening as well.

Not sure if its this forum or the application, so if anyone is having problems here or elsewhere it would be useful to know.

1. Double Post
Can either be:

1) When someone posts the exact same thing twice in a row.

2) When someone posts something then, rather than using the "edit" button, posts an elaboration or similar right after the 1st.

3) Simply two posts by the same member, regardless of reason, after each other.
1)
person1: I am cool...
person1: I am cool...
person2: aaargh double post!

2)
person1: how good is an 8800?
person1: wait I mean an 8800GTX?
person2: try using 'edit' next time.

3)
person1: I am cool...
person1: I like sausages...
person2: idiot!

I got an SQL error which usually means that the post was successful but you can't tell. I wasn't aware that I had double posted. However given the recent Tapatalk "upgrade" I suspect that may be the culprit.
Did you perhaps delete my erroneous post before I saw it Gary?

We are running a version behind the latest version on the forum which may be the reason, hence trying to see if anyone else has problems elsewhere. That said, the changelog with the latest version didn't give me any reason to install it.

Yes, I removed your "double bubble" as soon as I saw it!
 
I have just downloaded taptalk onto my mobile

Now the question is

How the he'll do you use it ¿
 
Just log in to the forum and off you go.

Ok now got forum,how do you find out if another forum you are in is on it?

I am on the volvo forum but can't find it

Some times when searching for a forum you have to type the full address in, eg. http://zroadster.org

It can be a bit fickle finding some forums.
 
If you log in to a forum via the web browser on your mobile device it will usually tell you that it supports tapatalk. It would appear that the Volvo forum doesn't support it as yet.

Just did a quick google on the Volvo forum and tapatalk. Found two rather heated threads discussing it, and it appears the admin team there says no, and with little chance of them changing their minds...
