I have owned three 190's as well, petrol and diesel, bit of a Merc thing going on with us back in the 90's.
Funny thing is, you still see the odd old 190 out on the road but never an old Merc coupe?

I liked those little Cossies too Andy, don't particularly like Mercs in general, even the newer ones. Don't mind the new A class though.

Worth a few quid now mate. Yup, no doubt on the engineering but I'd take most Audi's over most Mercs and BMWs. Just look better, in my view.

Got around to watching some of the Grand Tour now my Kodi is working and saw the one with Clarkson driving the TTRS. I have to say that looks great and sounds even better, love the pops and crackles from the exhaust. Takes you back to the original Quattro rally car sound.

And on a side note, my last Merc was a Mercedes C230 V6, could not be bothered to work out what all the bells & whistles did on the thing and traded it in for my Z.
