Top work old bean...😎
She looks mint...!
The slight rise on the rear and with all the new bushes I Feel is really going to add to the feel of her again and remove that crashie ride you can get with the crap roads. Feel like setting off now to pick her up...
Thanks For all the work you and your dad did..... Genuinely appreciated👍
See you tomorrow...!
It'll be night and day mate, mine was

Really ?....that dramatic?
I'm hoping it softens the B8s up a little as well....
Thinking of how all the rear end is connected then it stands to reason that with the new bushes they will take a lot more of the stick rather than my spine..!

The old beam bushes as usual in these cases were doing nothing Wayne, just sitting on a piece of steel. Not good for the vertebrae.

Tony.

a bit of rake made a nice difference for me-the front feels more pointy and you feel less ‘laid back’ onto the rear. It was done at the same time as corner weighting and adding camber so a combination of things at once.
Subtle but noticeable and something you pick up once you drive a familiar road again.

when mine was first done it was also freezing so couldn’t really push it. I did try keeping up with Lee in his M upon collection but I just couldn’t yet trust the car, I was so used to it wanting to kill me had to build up trust in the new handling!
Wait till it’s properly ray and warmer...

enjoy!

Top work
What brand of rear springs are you using there, ride height looks spot on (I recognise that they've gone from red to black)

They are the ones we took off. Swamper plans to fit a new suspension setup in the future so we powder coated the rough red springs black to get a couple more years out of them. Brand is HnR.

so after a 250 mile ride home...things to report....
1st instantly could tell the she sat slightly higher at the back and that there was no sag in the rear,...also cleared the speed humps on the way out from Lees (which she didn't on the way in)
2nd The gears absolutely slipped into place with no hint of slack in the drive train at all...clutch pedal is much lighter than before.
3rd after hitting the roads the rear end is now absolutely planted...she feels like she not just rolling on the roads...but rather gripping it..!
i would never have said my car felt sloppy...but now feels much more complete and composed ..as Lee pointed out ..she is flat in corners and in comparison to how she was before the work was done ..she would feel on her tiptoes at times...but not anymore.
the new amount of plantedness real does up the confidence in the corners and also in the acceleration
3rd the B8s really seem to like new bushes and although still firm she is no longer crashie when on crap roads.
I could waffle on...but dinner is waiting..!!!!

the work Lee and Trev have done has totally transformed the experience of driving her and I can say that since my ownership she has never felt so good.

if you have never had a refresh done to the rear of the car I can whole heartedly recommend it.
thanks for a top job well done!!
