Not all the cameras are loaded with film Tony. It used to be that if it did not do a double flash then you were safe.
 
Yes, I was flashed (by a camera) on the M5 years ago but never heard anything
 
I know where there is one near Lincoln which has never been "live" as I was told this by a Fireman (fighter to be pc) who drove the truck.

To be honest Bill I think it did double flash as I was looking for it. I did get done one a few years ago heading into Blackpool.:(I thought the double was to get a picture on each of the lines, which was how they measured you speed.

Yeh think that might be wrong now and have moved on to hard drives or sd cards
 
UPDATE ABOUT YESTERDAY'S UPDATE THAT NEEDS TO BE UPDATED!!!
I'm in the union at work and although I need to confirm this today they pay fines if your a member so that may soften the blow a bit. Also I've been told that I may be offered a speed awareness course instead of taking the points but that's offered in cetain circumstances and I don't know as yet what the parameters are. I was 10mph over.
 
With a bit of luck @Davejue1 you should get offered a speed awareness course for that....depends on the police force though.
 
That's a bit of good news Dave, union pays the fees and you do a speed awareness course - Result. :)
Still a clean licence and money in your wallet;)

Can't you take a joke? Actually, we were just in the same situation only worse, 107 in a 75............and they couldn't take a joke!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Just had an idea to make good out of bad. If you go for a speed awareness course, perhaps we could have a Z meet in the car park while your in there. This would surely be a first?
 
Just seen this, bit o bad luck that, especially when your thinking your oberving the rules, but nevet mind just glad it weren't when you overtook me or you would have been in deep poo,

On the way down to the birthday cruz. On the m'way.were u r a sitting target for the boys in blue.i was cruzin mindin mi own business doing a steady 82 mph. Wen a certain person overtook me at 110 mph. Made me look very pedestrian.
