Beautiful :p
It's always a shame when the photo doesn't look like it does in real life :)

Red sky at night, shepherds delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning. Nice pic mate.

My old dad spent his entire career at sea, lied about his age and joined the Navy at 16, was in action in a number places including Burma, when he left the Navy he sat his skippers ticket and spent the rest of his life fishing on trawlers and freezer ships, on the latter he could be at sea for 3 months at a time,
Anyway the point being he always said, Red sky at night, sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors warning and he was a firm believer of it, he was taken to early at 56 years of age and there is not a day goes by when I don't think of my hero.

I was taught a mixture of those two sayings at primary school Sean.
Red sky at night shepherd's delight, red sky in the morning sailor's warning.

Tony.

I'm with you there Tony as that's how I remember it. You have to be a certain person with the calling to spend 3 months on a freezer ship/trawler Sean, taken early certainly but at least doing what he wanted. See what tomorrow morning brings, the cross country leg to work is stunning, I'll stop on the shore of Eyebrook reservoir and watch the swans gliding eriely through the early morning mist. With that sunrise it's one of the best shows around!

We have another version here in Shropshire....red sky at night, your barn’s on fire.....red sky in the morning, it’s still burning.
