Hi all .
Wondered if anyone in South East or Hertfordshire fancied a local drive meet breakfast lunch anything. Sunday 2nd October .
Nice to get out and about for us more South peeps before winter sets in although mines used stays out but know some of you don't use Zeds in winter but nothing wrong in winter days out either.
Anyway Interest ideas.?

Let me know & I can e mail a pit pass its at Debden airfield Carver barracks. A bit exposed but there'sa reasonable burger van!

Thanks @Shelly very kind not sure we will make it the Zed had to go into the garage again on Friday morning :( :mad: and it never came back last night not sure if it will come back today.

I had hoped to get a better response for a drive or breakfast meet second time I have put a similar thing up here obviously people in south east and my area are not Interested.
Looks like long journeys in the future to do Zed things to meet up with lovely minded people.
Just have to make weekends of it.

Yes we have the same problem with meets here , as were also far away from people , and also I work Saturday nights I work which is another problem :)
As I can't finish work at 11-12 and then get up early in the morning ( I can't survive on 5-6 hours sleep ) :)
I'd need a week of work to recover =))
 
Yes it spends more time in the garage than driving anyway off to work now to earn some money for the garage bill.
I have similar problem I work until 3 pm Saturday's.

Yes but they never got to solve the problem. :(
Not really anywhere to go with it anymore.
Think it will have to go unfortunately.

But not good they couldn't solve the problem :(
 
Unfortunately we have been chasing this battery drain since I have had the car no one knows why it drains every conceivable check has been done.
No more that can be done oh well enough is enough.

Any decent auto electrician should be able to find it. There has to be a volt drop somewhere. I'm no mecanic but saying they can't find anything sounds lame to me. I'd go somewhere else, sounds like the garage you are using either arn't bothered are are no good.

Your much better to organise some thing further in advance. Use the "forthcoming events" page and set out a date and what your wanting to do. You will get a much better response when people have time to organise themselves. I've seen quite a few try a last minute drive with little or no takers.
 
Yes I'd take the Z to another garage too :p

Just had a quick look and your only 70 miles from Lee. Maybe you could organise something with the zed shed to hopefully get it rectified? Yours being a 1.9 isn't going to use much fuel and I'm sure a beer and bacon butty would be greatfully received. We don't like to see folks giving up although I have had moments myself! Stick with it.
