Went to the local fruit shop today and made the most of the summer bounty. 10 kg of over ripe tomato's and 20 over ripe red peppers quickly became Tomato Passata for the cooler months.

We also put down 2 batched of Raspberry liqueur and 2 batches of boysenberry liqueur ready for the winter after dinner treats.

Lincolnshire Sausages cooked in our Actifry, sliced into pasta with Passata . Lovely! Raspberry liqueur sounds interesting too Murray?

Shame you didn't get up here last back end Roy. Shirl made a load blackberry liqueurs and infusions. There may even be some left for you to try next time. Before she starts making more next fruit season.

Yes it does have a kick. But it is only 20% ABV.

The by product of making fruit liquor is that you get left with fruit that is 40% ABV. What do you do with it? We have found that ice cream with said fruit is a great treat. Just don't drive afterwards.
