What are you doing with the inside of the barrels Sean?Got one of the rims painted today, its the finest aluminium I could get my hands on as I didn't want sparkle, I wanted it to be as close to a polished finish as I could get. I will do for me

Sean you might be able to lay a small nut over the top of the broken stud, then using a mig welder fill the Centre with weld to make a new head to aid removal. I use this technique a fair bit and it hasn’t let me down yet.Had a bit of time on the wheels last night and managed to remove 3 of the 5 snapped bolts on one wheel, I have been toying with an idea of how to get enough heat into the snapped studs and came up with an ingenious solution (even though I do say so myself )
We have a spot weld pin puller that we use to put pins on panels so we can pull dents out, it worked perfectly on the studs and a 2 second burst had them glowing bright orange, mole grips did the rest, the problem I have with the other 2 is that they are just 2 short to grab.
Also got one rim stripped ready for etch primer
