Just a quick update, Guys, no pics, will take some on Saturday on the Rutland Meet, if the rain allows :rain( :D

As usual with these things, it was a last minute rush to get her ready for Rutland. 'Paul the paint' mopped the bonnet yesterday, he said that it took an hour and a half to do, instead of the usual forty minutes, as the Lacquer had hardened right up since the bonnet was painted in Feb. Trust me when I tell you that she now looks superb :ymapplause: Although I had to shampoo and condition her all over again because of the mopping debris #:-s

Mora was back in the garage, waiting for me when I got home from work last night. With the MOT planned for 8am this morning, I had three jobs left to do. Firstly fit the new washer nozzles into the bonnet, then replace the accoustic shield on the inside of the bonnet and refit the tray underneath the front bumper. These five minute jobs turned out to be somewhat complicated as I tried not to damage the fresh paintwork :-ss

This morning, Mora sailed through the MOT with flying colours, no advisories at all, all she needed was a replacement bulb, which cost me 47p!! :)

It's very surprising how complicated the MOT has become and how thorough the testers are. I find it quite intriguing watching the tester going through each process and how nerve wracking it is when the tester breaks the conversation and concentrates on one small peice of the car ~x( :-ss I was so relieved when he finally said she was OK!

good news Mike. Dont get the car too dirty at rutland, remember Silverstone ;)

Excellent news :-bd

When I took Zippy recently for his MOT I waited - never usually do that just go shopping in town and come back... I was surprisingly nervous watching... I think I'll opt for the shopping option next year :D

mines in friday for mot, oil service, diff oil, gearbox oil. :D
The Z4's due a service in 2k :( . Only needs an oil service, but think I may treat it to my favourite Indies Inspection II, Diff and Gearbox oil change. Luckily just MOTd as I bought it. Still having nightmares about the Z3 failing though, not a good experience...

get it all done gaz, its worth it.

ive had this lot done over the last year.

coolant, power steering, brake fluid, gearbox oil, diff oil, engine oil , vanos kit.

:D
