Are we also including the fact that the original exhaust is still at the nearside rear and looking at the tailpipe im guessing that there's a fair likelihood that it's also a TDI

They are fake the exhaust is on the left you can just catch the pipes are they stick on

No, they went to the effort to (badly) tunnel in to the bumper and then poke them through it.
