So when dropping of my style 32's at Primo Alloys (Knaphill, Woking) @ 10:53 a.m. today they we stolen whilst I was inside discussing the proposed paint colour with the manager. They were just outside the door with the tyres right next door to them (stole the wheels but left the brand-new tyres). The manager watched me unload (placing the wheels carefully on the pallet next to the back door), went inside back about 3-4 minutes later and hey ho .... they were gone when we came out. There's CCTV of a White Van (high top) coming on to the trading estate and then departing 5 minutes later (rather quickly). Even though we have CCTV the quality doesn't directly show the number plate, so I'll have to send it off to the police for review (unfortunately primo themselves have no cameras which is a surprise). Resigned to the fact that these are now gone however if anyone sees anything on any of the forums/facebook/ebay for 4 16" style 32's in the surrey Area (Woking, Guildford, Chertsey, Farnborough, Aldershot, Bracknell, etc.) please can they DM me. There were specifically sourced for my daughters 1.9 now featuring in "Rust to Roadster" (thanks again to Lee) and I hope those involved ...... Anyway pictures attached (of the Wheels) and the afterwards ... tyres but no wheels.

What rotten luck to have something like that happen!

Very sorry to hear about this. In such a short space of time is crazy. To think I used to leave my style 89’s out the back of the house for days on end.

Cruel world we live in. I shall be on the lookout 🫡

Chris.

Doesn't make much sense. To 99.9% of people the tyres are worth more than the wheels, especially as they need refurbing.

Maybe the scrap value is good?

I have a set of 17" style 18s you can have for free it that helps. You will need to collect them from Lincolnshire, though.
If you are interested, there is a for sale ad on here with pictures.

Really appreciate the offer that’s actually what is on the car at the moment… 17 inch style 18’s but my daughter saw these 32’s off a picture I took on the Autumn Scottish run (recommended to anyone who’s not done one of these yet) so after about 5-6 months looking for them I drove to Nottingham to pick them up … it beggars belief …. Have rung around local scrap yards advising they have been nicked and if they buy them they will be handling stolen goods .. might not help .. but I”m trying to make it difficult for them to be offloaded easily.

In New York city, my neighbor had a flat on the upper West Side, and his spare was no good, so he went to call his son ( pay phone, it was 1978, no cell phones)to help him out. When he went back his car was on milk crates, wheels and tires gone, and the seats and engine had been removed. It was a
mid 70s TransAm.

I have a set of Pepperpots with Avon ZV7 195/65/15 tyres in good condition, the rims had some slight kerbing so I fitted the rim blades which hides these. The tyres were new in September and have done less than a 1000 miles. I put them on in an effort to make the ride more compliant for Mrs R but they didnt make a huge difference and it turned out my exhaust rubbers were all perished hence the noisy ride. Before they go on the bay of e I thought i would put them on here first. Looking for £175.00 and based in FY5 2PD, collection preferable but can courier at your cost, View attachment 337347View attachment 337349View attachment 337351View attachment 337353around £50 I think, also I will be at the BMW event at Oulton 31st May and Z fest northwest 20th July.
I was thinking of putting these on again for the winter but you can have them for the price of courier if that helps, much better than Style 32 IMHO.
Although the 32’s are on my wish list😂
