Just in the process of getting my first Z3 2001 3.0..boldly hoping the inherited issues I have with the car can be resolved with some sound advice and a few contacts!!.. As I am driving the car to my sons wedding in italy yep!!. No fool like an old fool!!.. always been a petrol head!!. First car mg midget!!.. 2nd car Lotus Elan!!.. which I duly writ off with an argument with a parked car!! Love and appreciate the passion people have with their cars and am genuinely excited( even at the ripe old age of 56).. to becoming part of the Z3 family!!.. bring it on!!. .. at moment Absligbt permanently on..and issue with roof soaking up water in downpours

Hi Stevie, welcome from Orlando. Hope you get those little issues sorted in time for the Italy trip. Good choice of cat. If the carpet underlay is soaked (and it probably is) you'll need to remove the seats and carpets to get it thoroughly dried out. That sponge can and will hold several litres of water and can create electrical issues.
