Brilliant again Malc. You caused a bit of insomnia last night with the preview. Couldn’t stop Maxine talking about her youth centre days with stack sole shoes and flares. Apparently they had Ambrose Slade perform there when they were a skinhead band before they gave Ambrose the boot and got famous.

We saw them live at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln in the late 70's Alan. It's fairly small venue and I was deaf for days.

Just for you, In March 1972 I was sent to Suffield in Canada by HMForces army to take over and sign for of equipments for my regiment to train there for a few weeks. So 1972/3 holds a big significance In my somewhat boring life. Was given a 2week furlow to go visit Yellowstone Park in the USA and actually heard the infamous young girl Lori Lieberman give one of her first renditions of Killing Me Softly,(with his song). Being the only Brit (guest of towns Ex GIs) in this small town venue was asked to listen to song by touring singer, and so this one evening in my life stands out as when I heard the Reberta Flack rendition in 1973 I told my wife that I’d heard this song over a year earlier in a small venue in Montana by a young American girl called Lori, (actually introduced to her) and asked if I’d liked the song. Little did I know that this girl it seems would be done out of a lot of money and fame over what’s now considered more her song than anyone else’s. Look it up on, Killing me softly Wikipedia, if curious.
So be carefull with your lyrics Mazza, because (like this young unsuspecting young girl) someone might use/steal them.
