its been a long wet winter and really tough on the job we’ve been doing, but I’ve done my bit now it’s up to the professionals.although I have to give a site induction tomorrow....not sure it’s going to help but insurance says yes;).it was snowing yesterday so I fired the 3M up for some skids and slides but after the new paint job I don’t have quite the same enthusiasm lol don’t worry it soon going to wear off;).A few pics of the building we’ve erected in just over a week .our son calculated that we’ve carried 100,000 tonnes of stone as a foundation and entrance road I can imagine it’s up there as the diesel bill is eye watering

I should add we started carrying stone in December and only stopped over Christmas it’s been an epic experience battling the weather and trying to meet the deadline

I bet it has looking at the photos.

How many miles of drainage pipe did you have to put in?
Lost count but it’s kept the site from being waterlogged .looking forward to getting the roof on ,I’m going to France for a few days on Wednesday perhaps it might be on by the time I get back

That is a huge project, I can't imagine how it will look when you get it finished Hugh. Considering it has done nothing much but rain and blow for weeks you have all done very well to get this far.

Tony.

Don’t do things by half Hugh do you!!!!. Gonna need somewhere to store all these high polluting classic cars when they’re banned, long enough to keep em running too.

Are you going solar on the roof.
Is it for ???

what I would give for a shed the 10th of the size of this, would be a great place to host a Zed party prior to it going in to full use, we could all just drive right in........

It's for "Los Pollos Hermanos" Roy

Yep solar on the roof and 2 backup generators in case we have a power cut as there’s over 700k of computer controlled equipment in it ,be able to access it on your phone anytime anywhere lol.feeling quite special really as not many people at my age owe as much money as i do :slaphead:.in my job I dont worry a lot about stuff getting banned I’ve seen many things disappear and can’t say I miss a lot and our kids definitely don’t.give it a generation or two it’ll be a memory and we won’t care lol

If that's the place in New Mexico I think it is Tony, :bookworm: then why shouldn't Wales get in on the act competing for us against the US, although a little late. Bit like their rugby teams slogan, better late etc.=))

Manhattan Project no 2. ( Los Pollos Hermanos does sound a bit like Los Alamos and Hughs building does look big enough. No ?????) =))

Roy.
