You made a cracking job of the Z4 wheel Pete. How long did it take you?

well the wheel was not too bad
I must have spent about 4 or 5 hours. 1 hour (seriously) spent trying to undo the knots I had created in the red thread trying to put it on the needle in one long length.
about two hours doing the wheel in the living room whilst watching telly (that was the easy bit to be honest just steady as you go)
then another couple of hours trying to clear the airbag light that came on afterwards even though I did not have ignition on whilst disconnecting
I even began to think I had damaged the slip ring or something, but it was just being a pain and I don't know why?
I tried INPA, Carly, my other diagnostic readers C110, the airbag tool, Nothing would clear it, then I began to experiment into tool 32 in the INPA package and that worked, but I wish I had taken photo's as by then I was just trying all sorts.
yet others have done the steering wheel replacement with no lights, so god know what happened with mine.
