Z4 steering wheel has been fitted to Z3 before - but it's far from straightforward.

The other option is to send your Z3 wheel to somewhere like Royal Steering Wheels and ask them to modify it into a smaller reincarnation of itself.
I did exactly this to have mine done with a flat bottom which gives me more room to get my legs under it!
Also took the opportunity to get it retrimmed in perforated leather & alcantara.

Can they make it smaller or just flat bottom?

You would have to ask them. I just wanted flat bottom - I have seen them make other wheels smaller.

Unfortunately Royal can't make the steering wheel smaller, only flatten the bottom. I'll bear that in mind if I can't find a suitable smaller wheel.

Will an M Tech Sport wheel p/n 2228230 fit?
It looks like it might according to realoem, though I'm not sure that's 100% accurate.
It's only 15mm smaller but may make a difference...
