Let me know if you get one, tried myself in 2015. For some reason no 10 is not readily available in this country, takes months to source and costs a fortune. I was intending to have one made up by a local hydraulics firm but haven'the got around to it yet.
There's always a down side I did read that in an old 2012 where people were going to Pirtex and the likes to get them made up oh well I'll give it a go.

You would have thought that a pipe that is exposed to all manner of road detrious would be a tad more corrosion resistant and a replacement readily available. Strangely the other pipes are available,.

The thing about all car parts is they are built to have a service lifetime.
The parts fitted to our zeds that are still original are now pushing 20 year old.
If car manufacturers were to make vehicles with ultra high end components that would last a lifetime they would become far to expensive to purchase and would end up you would buy 1 car to last a lifetime because the purchase price would be so high.
At the end of the day z3 for a 20 yr old motor are pretty well screwed together

Well that's it ordered from Mark at Soper be here in a few days. Thank goodness for the forum and discount. I'm now £317 lighter. Now I won't worry about going far from the house. Roll on the road trips. ( away for a lay down )

In August 2016, mine cost me NZ$182 or 105 pounds. Sounds like they charged you for the installation labour as well as the part.

seemed like I didn't have much option and that was £43 cheaper than BM here in Edinburgh. At least I will be fitting it. On a brighter note just had the clutch hose ( Earls ) fitted and both clutch and brakes bled today, and two new rear shocks and top mounts fitted. Then took it for a blast. love it.

Good day yesterday shut in the garage and got the offending rusty steering pipe changed. I gave the new one a few coats of rust protector and some nice satin black. Straight forward job and new fluid as well all good. ( picture of old and new )
