At the risk of opening old wounds for some forum members; I read a thread where there was a suggestion that It might be possible to fabricate the steering cooling loop in stainless steel, or possibly use a small oil cooler instead of the OEM loop that seems to corrode away on a regular basis.
Did anyone do this, or try and ran into problems?

That looks like a transformation! and worth a definite try with mine, I was just concerned at the amount of metal that seems to have lifted - looks pretty far gone to be honest, so I’m happy to be pleasantly astonished.
