Starting back to work

I’m starting back to work on Tuesday
I can’t wait
I’ve had 7 1/2 months off work
Ive been made redundant from the job I’ve had for 34 years
It will be lovely to get back to see people, I feel nervous as I don’t really know what to expect and I haven’t really been out much .
But I think I’m lucky to have a job

Being made redundant isn't the end of the world - happened to me last October, first time for everything...

One thing thats come out of it, new environment, new people, Hey ! I do have skills ....

Because you've seen how one place works, looking at the new place you can pick the best of both worlds. I've certainly already made a difference here, thats for sure...

I’m looking for another job as the job I’ve got is only 12+ hours
Im sure something will come along at some point

I too go back on Tuesday and can't wait. It was supposed to be WFH but I've now been called in so I'm in a panic because a) I can't find my work trousers and b) I bet they won't fasten.
