Starter Motor Replacement

Hi guys and girls,just to let you know I've fitted a new starter motor to my 2.2 Z3,it was a faulty starter as some of you suggested,I managed to remove and refit it from under the bonnet,without removing the inlet manifold ect,wasn't a bad job after I loosend the bell housing bolts,I had to move the loom and pipework at the rear of the engine compartment to allow access to the top starter boltxand the airbox was a bit fiddly,the storter bolts were Torx No 12 but I found a 10mm britool open ended spanner fitted Ok as well,anyway went back together and started on the button,also found a stubby 10mm ratchet spanner very handy the airbox was a bit fiddly going back on but all turned out well in the end,just like to thank you all for your suggestions and encouragement.

Well done Tony. On my “to do” list at some point though there appears to be a bit better access on a Z4.
