Hello,
I installed a fresh set of seat bushings recently to get rid of the known issue concerning the seats moving back and forth when stopping and accelerating. The actual install went fine however, my B800 tool is giving me two codes that repeatedly come back after clearing: 02-03 (supply voltage) and 02-18 (seat occupancy detector).

Both of these seem to imply the under-seat passenger harnesses are either not hooked up or there's a short, but I know that I hooked everything back up. Like I said, clearing the codes doesn't work - the SRS light pops back up after a few seconds. Any other things I could look out for that could be causing the issue?

TIA,
-Matt

Hi Matt,
Check that the wiring is still connected under the seats with a torch and mirror. It’s a bit awkward but manageable.
When reassembling after I had my seats out, I routed the wiring such that when I tested the seats up, down, back and forward there was not enough slack in the wiring and one of the connectors pulled out.
Once reconnected, after sorting the wiring, I used the B800 and cleared the lights.

You were exactly right in your assessment. The two larger plugs were still connected but somehow a smaller white plug had managed to become disconnected. Fixed tonight and cleared the light; it didn't come back.

Glad it’s sorted.
