well I could not wait till Saturday so I thought it's a good night so just do it... Fitted Apex lowering springs and was not a bad job to do..

I noticed the back end was bouncy before I satarted ...... I found the problem

Top rubbers on the rear shockers were not tight so moving about and now they are goosed ... Ordered some and will be changed tomorrow

Why BMW fitted springs that made the Z3 look like a 4 wheel drive I'll never know! Looks pretty much spot on now, just need those spacers...

Both rear mounts are like that, but on the bright side all other bushes are fine

Now you've lowered the car you might want to fit uprated rear top mounts. With the extra load on them you might start seeing that often.

The only reason I'm suggesting this is I bet that's now lowered 30-40mm about the limit on standard shocks.

I have used them on a few different cars and never had any trouble.. If you google them there is a few things come up about them , they seem to be ok and I got the look I was wanting on the car

I ran Apex springs on my M. Did 30,000 miles of hard driving with Koni shocks.

APEX have a really good name in the market at the more budget end. they lower a bit more than eibachs / H&R etc

to help with the rear topmounts you can also get reinforcing plates, i have them on mine.

You could but I fear over bigger bumps the tyre would clip the arch, I had the same issue on the M with 25mm spacers.
