Event ( spring) Scottish run 2022 April 9th and 10th

So I was off work this week thought get some ground work done for the spring run.
Thursday was a cold but sunny January day
Lynne and Stuart were at school so decided get the zed out roof down ( after some rear window pre heating down to garage for fuel) tonneau on ready to go Lynne's zed still frozen.

Yesterday the weather wasn't quite so good for the Day 2 recce Lynne was wanting to come as well so ended up taking the skoda instead.

The picture of mine and @andyglym Zed and the one before it are the same place.
The bird of prey is a red kite part of the route is the red kite trail we saw about 4 or 5 yesterday ( hope to see some on day of the run )

I am privileged to have so much diversity hill's and mountains sea and sand practically on my doorstep weather not always the greatest but there is always a price to pay.

A good few hours out that mate 👍
 
A couple Andy around 9 hrs drive over the 2 days and around 370 miles just my average Scottish run mate.
September run shaping up similar apart from the extra miles drive north to the hotel .

Mandy and I are going to have to pull out of the spring run due to having to put parents into care in Milton Keynes. We have been on this since November 2021 and now have a conclusion, which has ramifications for a few months. We will make the Autumn run without fail.
Enjoy the run and best wishes. We look forward to seeing everybody in September.

UPDATE 15th March.
Hi guys hope everyone is well.
This is mainly aimed at members joining us from south of the border ( as the guys up here will already know this ) following a statement from the Scottish Government today you guys would be advised to pack your face masks 😷 😷 as the legal requirement 👮‍♂️ to wear them in shops and other indoor settings is remaining in force till at least early April ( as things stand) I will post a final update a couple of days before the run will the very latest rules ( as the mask wearing will probably become personal choice by around April 4th) but this will depend on our case numbers which are currently high.

Hi guys the latest news on face masks is they will remain law in Scotland until April 18th in shops , petrol station, restaurants, pubs etc in communal areas when not seated so it's bring your masks I'm afraid.
