Out for a walk with our dog today and the hedgerows are coming to life. Buds are starting on the blackthorn and shoots on the elderberry. Soon be looking glorious white again.

My fave time of year, birds have already started singing and some are nest building
Mine as well mate. After a long winter spring is most welcome.
We've got a camera in one of our bird boxes and Blue Tit id in there at the moment roosting. comes in about 17.15 and leaves about 7.15 at the moment. Comes in during the day as well and been tidying up so guess it must be the female!!!
Must be great to watch, I keep promising myself one, we had Great, Blue and Marsh Tits nesting in our boxes over the years, as well as a robin in the open fronted box
