Hiya Jim.
Whats your thoughts about me doing this in one day? Its going to be a good 3 hr drive
up to meet you. How many hours will the trip be Jim? Its just me thinking of the drive
back home from Bretton will probably take me another 4 hrs. Wondering if i should consider
a stop over!! :-??

Would look at a stop over bit much for one day, Llangollen are doing some fantastic B & B offers at the moment £10 per person on one of them.. Will be covering around 150 miles+ on the cruise. But if you want we could meet up at Lake Vyrnwy if you decide to do it in one hit? will cut out around 50 mile for you..

I'v been searching around the web sites trying to find a B&B somehere up near there
but best i can find is £60 a night. Was considering two nights so we would then be
up that way early on the Sunday then stay for the night before a quiet ride back
home on the Monday!! Can you recommend anywhere more reasonable than £60
per night? :-?

This is a lovely part of the country, right by the lake, I have been to this hotel in the past but not for some time, in a small village. and only around a 20 minute drive to the meeting point in Chirk..Good Value. Check out the parking though I think it has on site parking but better check. Good choice for an extended stay...
