He is a major contributor to Great Ormond Street hospital, Unicef, The Honeypot Children's Charity and Children of Africa. Many times after a race, instead of leaving the country immediately, he will stay and visit children in poor villages (India) and slums on behalf of UNICEF.
He has unified all of his giving under the Lewis Hamilton Foundation. The goal of the foundation is to provide grants and donations to help with disabilities, Education/training, the advancement of health or saving of lives, prevention or relief of poverty, and general charitable purposes throughout England.
He donated €500,000 during the Australian wildfires .............. etc etc etc
Oh, he's in the top 5000 UK tax payers. Most top sportsmen and women are similar, they have a platform and use it

Unfortunately the UK gutter press would rather print negative 'gossip' than anything positive. They love to knock anyone successful if it will sell and of course social media is full of uninformed rubbish.
And speaking of gutter press they were doing themselves proud at the news statement at the scene of the explosion which killed 4 people this morning. They were disgusting, Sky reporter the worst. Scum.
