must be an old one because it still has propellers .
Best why to fly, good old turbo props, not into travelling in jet planes to be honest, boring, there is no feeling that anything is going on.

That's why they have wooden props.:thumbsup:

the downside is, you don't want to be anywhere near a wooden prop when it does break because they shatter. I've helped sweep up the remains of a shattered wooden prop after a taxiing incident and there was extremely sharp wooden shards everywhere. Never stand directly beside a running prop, always behind.

metal blades bend but do mean an engine strip.

Don't get near any prop when it is turning or likely to, I have seen what happens when someone walks into one. :(

unfortunately, so have I and it didn't turn out well at all.

However, sometimes you just have to.

you may recall seeing the same method in the film "The Great Escape". It is the same engine.
