Speedy Recovery Alan

Great news all round then Alan. Conrats to all:thumbsup:

All good news Alan! What a lovely name they have given her.

Tony.

Good news and congratulations.

Bit of an update. I was discharged on Tuesday in time to get home to see Harry score his goal.
Apparently I had a bacterial infection of the serous fluid around my graft (previous operation) which was treated with intravenous antibiotics and now a further 6 weeks of oral antibiotics. I take so many tablets now, if you hear rattling coming from my car it will be me. Anyway feeling a lot better, if a bit weak. Can’t wait to get out in the Zed.
Thanks for all the well wishes.

Great to hear your wanting to get out in the Z Alan, that’s got to be a good sign. Keep your chin up they’ll have you fixed up in no time. Hope to see you at a meet pretty soon.

Roy.

Good to hear you’ve escaped mate, hope you and Maxine are soon out zedding.

Tony.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell, but I’m so pleased you are on the mend. Take care and hope you are back out in the car soon.

Zedding and seeing the granddaughter are both on hold. I was readmitted to QA Hospital yesterday morning with a raging temperature and being sick back to square one. On two lots of intravenous antibiotics. Feeling a bit better but this isn’t good. Alan

Our thoughts are with you Alan, keep fighting and get well soon.

Keep that recovery going mate and congratulations to you all 👍

Hope you’re soon feeling better Alan. Sending you our best wishes mate.

Sorry to hear that Allan. Hope things improve soon, Best wishes Sue & Ian.

The latest:- I was discharged from hospital on Monday after another 3 weeks in hospital. They finally got the antibiotics about right and I feel a lot better, lost just over a stone and am still very weak, but at least I’m out. Now have nurses calling daily to give me an antibiotic drip, through a picc line in my left arm, I have that for 6 weeks and weekly blood tests.
The last couple of months has been particularly unpleasant and I want nothing like it again.
Hope to make it out in the Zed soon but I will have to get past Maxine first as she is anti me driving at present, she is probably right, she usually is.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Alan

Glad to hear that Alan, look after youself and get your strength back up and Maxine might let you out.
