Speedy Recovery Alan

A bit of an update. I was discharged last Wednesday and went home, I still didn’t feel completely cured. I kept having temperature spikes and was nagged constantly by Maxine who wanted me to go back into hospital. I had become very weak I wasn’t eating but really didn’t want to go back. I was stubborn.
Yesterday I had an outpatient appointment at the hospital just routine, seen by the doctor who admitted me. I’ve had loads of tests scans X-rays already and started another course of intravenous antibiotics. So I am typing this from a hospital bed. Hopefully they will sort me out this time and I won’t be so stupid and not take advice again.
Thanks for all the get well messages, they mean a lot.

I hope they get to the bottom of it this time Alan, all the best from me and Shirl mate.

Tony.

Sorry to hear you're back in hospital Alan. Wishing you a better outcome this time.

I can’t believe you prefer hospital food over Maxine’s cooking  ……

Get well soon Alan.

speedy recovery mate, oh and Jan says leave them nurses alone

Hoping you get back on your feet soon Alan. Not unusual to be re-admitted. While the NHS is fabulous, they are often under massive pressure to release beds as quickly as possible. For some that means you get discharged a few days too early. This time around they will be more cautious and make sure you really are on the way to a full recovery. Still, hope it's not too long before you're home again

Located in a Bedshed?;)

Tony.
